frustrated!!!!!
I am 2 months and 3 weeks out and have lost 65 lbs. Yet I still go through days where I don't lose weight. No worries you will lose again....when I find that this happens, it's usually because I am not getting in enough protein. When I star****ching my protein usually I start losing again. I've gone about 1 and a half weeks with out losing any weight. But then will suddenly drop another 5-6 lbs. I totally understand your frustration though. But remember you have lost sooooo much already, be proud of that.
I stalled for 2 weeks starting at seven weeks PO. WELL--not only did I stall I gained seven pounds!!! YIKES! However when I talked to my surgeon, he reassured me that between 6-8 weeks po some people stop losing, because your body THINKS IT IS STARVING! Also, at 5 weeks my PCP removed me from my diuretic--blood pressure is LOW now. This of course totally changed my bodies fluid balance and retention. So I focused on the positive, I was still losing inches, I was of the BP meds, and the diabetic meds. I increased my water and protien. AND I only weighed myself once a week. The scale started moving at week 9 again! So in my 2nd month I only lost eight pounds total(not including the seven I gained). Now I am two weeks shy of 3 month anniversary and I have lost a total of 58 pounds. Hang in there! Venting does help though doesnt it?
