I have tried Quaker Oats Weight Control oatmeal. I can only manage 1/2 a serving and end up throwing the rest away. I did notice that it seems very heavy in my pouch. I've been constipated so much that I needed something to get me moving. As a diabetic, I've noticed that it does strange things to my blood sugars. Chauncine P.S. Someone suggested that I try a bagel (6g of protein)...I can only manage half of one.

Chauncine, I have tried bread (well toast) and it was great. I want a bagel so bad, but not sure if its the same. Could you please give me your opinion?? Melissa

Melissa, I've had problems with wheat toast. I can eat whole grain crackers (reduced fat Wheatables are my favorites) and a half of a whole wheat bagel toasted with no problem. I'm stuffed to the gills after eating it. I'm reading the label...6 grams of protein for a whole one. I've seen some as high as 8 grams. I bought these at my grocery store (less than $1). I wouldn't dare try one of those huge ones at a bakery. Chauncine
