Super Bowl goodies.....what is everyone serving :party:

I am serving turkey sausage cut up in pieces, cheese cubes, rye boat with beef and dill dip and mozerella sticks. I was surprised that the cheese sticks have 4 grams of protein per stick. In an added note, I also have been eating more fish along with almonds. I have found the almonds keep things moving along....if you know what I mean. Debbie

I take pepperoni slices and nuke the H out of them. Their turn into little powdery coins with the taste of pepperoni.

I think you may want to consider takign to youir nutritionist before having any more nuts. My surgery was before yours and my adult daughter in KC had hers a month before mine, and we are months from being able to consider trying them according to our nutritionists. They are one of the very hardest things for the body to digest. SUPERBOWL IS SERIOUS HERE......GO SEATTLE SEAHAWKS !!! The motzerell sticks I eat have 9 gr of protein per ounce. I am making what is a mainstay for me nowdays.... soup. Low fat Chicken broth. with vegetarian smooth refried beans, canned or cooked skinless chicken breast cut tiny or shredded and pureed salsa. Put low fat cheese on top. (Measure portions... your eyes will want more than our tummies hold!) Pepperoni tastes good but is all fat, and our systems will not appreciate it, and that is the type of thing we are trying to avoid,anyway.
