Hey everyone, I just have a question. Today at work I spent five hours walking around wiping down tables, and cleaning floors. (Since my hours changed, I do not have a specific job) My question is will this five hours of walking, bending and stooping count for exercise?? Melissa

It would for me since I barely move. I have been walking in stores every day and that is my work out. Can only go for a few minutes unless I am holding on to a basket. I figure last year I couldn't even do this. BABY STEPS

Of course it counts. If you go to www.fitday.com they have a section where you input what kind of daily activities you do and it will calculate the calories you've burned. I'm thinking wipind down tables and cleaning floors would be considered home activities and then you can select light or heavy-duty. At the bottom you input how long you did the activity and it will tell you how many you burned. It is a wonderful tool and I use it for everything. Congrats on your weight loss so far!! Yes it does, every little bit helps. Increase it as you are able to, with your doctor's ok. Vanessa
