What did you eat today???
What did you eat (or are planning to eat) for the day (whichever day you read this)
Me:
B: Cottage Cheese (2oz), 1 *thin* slice of lean deli roast beef
L: One mini meatball, some turkey jerky
D: either cottage cheese or yogurt? haven't decided yet
I have had about 20 oz of fluids so far and am still sipping. I may throw in a protein shake before bed? Not sure yet.
How about you all?
I've been branching out a bit..trying new things. I got ****y after I had 4 no-throw-up days in a row. LOL!
B 1/2 scrambled egg
L 3 small sweedish meatballs with a large tablespoon of rice (yes! rice..it went down easily..this was a first)
Afternoon Snack 1 scoop Choc Unjury mixed in 8oz skim milk
D Won ton soup ..ate one of the wontons and about 4-5 oz of broth and a tablespoon of egg foo young. Delish!
Evening snack probably 4oz of skim milk and two sugar-free vanilla sugar wafers.
I am disappointed that I am loosing very slowly. About 2 pounds a week. I know I need to exercise more..but I have been exhausted lately..I work long hours..and it's all I can do just to do what needs to be done. I fall into bed early and sleep so soundly I dont even roll over. LOL! Bed only needs to be half made in the morning. I'm gonna try harder to fit in some walking. Doing ok with fluids..I walk around with a bottle all day long.

For breakfast I had a carb free yougurt. Peaches and cream. it has 11 grams of protien.
I had some ham salad with low fat wheat thins about 6 with a small amount of ham salad on them. I feel the need for crunchy food.
lunch??? don't know yet.
supper- probably some turkey breast with crackers. 26 grams of protein.
doing great on the water. I carry a bottle of water or crystal light.

B - 2 T melon
1 T cream of wheat
1/4C fat free milk
2 scoops unjury
L - 3 oz shrimp
1/4c zuch (cooks down to about 2T)
D - Pro Complex
1 c fat free milk
1/4c blackberries (strained)
S - Carbsmart creamcicle
Each meal takes 20-30 min to eat. 800 cal 4.27g fat 51.8g carb 136g protein. Kaiser wants us on protein, veg and fruit. It's hard to get it all in and it isn't gourmet but it seems to be working.

Breakfast - Weight Control Cinnamon Oatmeal
mid morning - protein powder and carb control chocolate milk
Lunch - Meatball with tomato sauce and well cooked green pepper (a WLS'r stuffed green pepper - no rice in meatball - used crackers)
Dinner - another meatball, some garlic mashed potatoes and smuckers natural low carb peanut butter warmed with splenda packet poured overtop.
carnation instant break fast with 1/2 banana and 1% milk 2 eggs /eggsalad w ligt mayo
2 peanut butter cookies
3 sppon ful of ground turkey w/ spagetti sauce ( made pasta for thr family) ? grams of protein
maybe a protein shake later
lots of water - not getting enough protein though - will try again tomorrow - JO
