I eat mine plain boiled with ****tail sauce on the side. I was amazed to see how easy it went down. I even had a small leaf of lettuce with it. I was able to eat two-three large shrimp. Sunny

I throw them in a frying pan with a little butter or if in feeling more healthy than that, the spray that's not bad for you and minced garlic and coo****il done. Easy to do and I'm a lazy cook. As my brother said, "it's impossible to use too much butter or too much garlic". Scott

I make a shrimp salad. I get the pre-frozen, boil them for a few mins then chop them up and mix them with a little lite may and sometimes a bit of chopped celery. Goes down very easy.

Lookds tso me like those posting here are too near post op to be trying shrimp!!! I have also read several pieces in here about it getting stuck in the stoma (opening) I think soft ham goes down pretty easy.

I make kind of what's a Shrimp Scampi I use the frozen salad shrimp - saute them in butter buds and garlic salt with a non stick spray on the pan boil wheat noodles, mix in the shrimp top with parmesan cheese, maybe another dash of butter buds and tad more garlic salt

I am afraid to try shrimp at this point. Too rubbery for me.

I agree... tried shrimp once and chewed the dickens out of it. It still didn't break up well. This is probably best to avoid for a little while!

I hadn't read these post yet. I was in the store and saw the frozen pre cooked shrimp. Something kept saying don't do it yet. I left them in the store. I did buy the Banquet Salsibury steak. I scrap all the gravy off of it. They are really tender and I think I will stick to that once a week. My doctor still has me on soft foods. Can't go to solids until two months out. 11 days and really not all that interested
