Hey, since we are all trying to come up with ideas for foods I had to share my WONDERFUL new snack. Although, I know SOME Dr/Dieticians may not allow it yet or maybe ever. But, mine encouraged it. It's mandarin oranges and bananas mixed together. Bananas are difficult for me to get down because of the consistency, so the mandarin oranges work as a nice catalyst. Plus, it quenchs that dry mouth feeling I always seem to have. Just thought I'd share. It's been a delicious treat for me!! Blessings~ What about you? Any great treats that YOU eat??

One of my favorite snacks is a low-fat triscuit cracker with peanut butter on it and a little slice of banana. I can usually eat 2 of these for a snack.. Again, not all Nut's recommend crackers, but mine does.

That sounds wonderful! Yummy! I'm surprised that the mandarin oranges wont cause dumping. This is great news. How many can you eat? Sunny

my surg was 12/9 my nutritionist said fruit with membranes like oranges and grapefruit are very hard to digest and I should not try them until about 3 to 4 months. I look forward to some though. Frozen banana skim milk sweetener and a dash of vanilla makes thick "ice cream"
