Is this normal?
Dana - everyone loses differently- i have read that the heavier you are the quicker you lose - I had surgery 1 week before you and at my 2 week appt I had lost 20 lbs - a total of 50 lbs - started at 320- was 290 at surgery date and at 2 week appt was down to 270 - i dont own/nor will i buy a scale so i dont know how much i have lost since then. you are doing fine - i am having problems with getting in all my protein and liquids but am trying and atleast i know that i am doing my best - what does your typical eating schedule look like? Jo
Hi Dana
I also had surgery the 28th and had lost 12 pounds but filled back up with 2 pounds of water. You are doing GREAT ! ! ! Sure, some are faster but I didn't lose anything the first 10 days. So I'm thrilled with my measly little 10.
Melissa is doing superbly and I'm envious but we're all soooo different and it really will work out in the long run.
Keep up the good work.
Shar
I log every morsel that goes into my mouth on Diet Power. I'm getting between 500 and 600 cal with 80-100g protein. I've got to find some form of exercise that doesn't irritate my leg into oblivion. I'm hoping for an hour or so at the gym today.
I had my surgery Dec 9, and I have disabilites on both knees , 1 ankle and both shoulders. At 272lbs down from 311lbs exercise is alot of shock and pain on my joints. I have been doing 35-45 minutes non stop exersise in the water at the local city pool 3-4 times a week for the last 3 weeks. I think this is a good solution for those with joint issues, and it is cheap.
Blessings....
