Watcha eat today
Hi All, Happy Saturday,
I have had a hard time getting fluids in the last couple of days, seems as if 40 oz is about all I can choke down, and water is not something that sits well with my pouchy. Today I have had,
1 oz egg beaters-7gms protien
6 oz protein drink-21 gms protein
2 oz pudding with added protein -7.5 gms
10 oz Isopure-20 gms protien
1 oz refried beans-2 gms protien
1 oz cottage cheese-4 gms protien
Has anyone else had problems getting enough fluids in?
B- 1T cream of wheat
1/4c lo-carb fat free milk
1 scoop unjury unflavored
L - Carb solution protein drink
D - 1/4c crm soup
1/2c fit n lt yogurt
10 mashed raspberries
Fluids have become much easier since finding crystal lite orange sunrise. I use it in jus****er or my pro-complex shake. I find I still prefer decaf Earl Grey to decaf coffee. Bought some lemon type of tea but it doesn't do much for the ol' taste buds. I find breakfast to be my favorite because that little bit of cream of wheat stays with me for hours. The rest of my meals just seem to slide through without any feeling of fullness.
Anyone else have that problem?
I am not sure if I have had the feeling of being full yet. I know that I normally just stop eating after a few bites. I do not want to make myself sick.
I did find that I ate too fast. I was eating chicken salad and on the phone, boy do I know not to do that again. I swear the pain I had in my chest was no joke. I put the chicken salad away and tried it again for my dinner. It went much better then.

Sherr,
I have been having a problem getting all my fluids in since I had surgery. I think the most I have gotten is 50oz.
I try to make every day better, but sometimes when I am out and about its harder to get in the fluids.
I am worried about that because I hope to go back to work this week. Do not know what I am going to do then??
