12/1/05 surgery update on me!!!

Hi December post op's. I just wanted to give an update on this board like I did the PA board. I went for my 1 month follow-up on 1/5/06 & as of that day I was officially down 31.5lbs. since my surgery It is so amazing the changes we go through & how fast it happens. I am not due to go back for another post op visit until March 8, 2006(3mth). I am released to all activity too. So far my body is accepting foods well, I walk & do other little exercises around the house too. All in all I feel pretty darn good. Sounds like you are doing a terrific job. I am looking forward to that one month check because I can then move beyond pureed foods. I've bought a couple of cookbooks -- Eating Well After Leight Loss Surgery and Before and After. So I've got some great cooking plans coming up. Again, great going Deb. Corrine

hey deb,good job.i also went for my post op check last week.eating soft proteins and having no upsets.so far i've lost 32lbs in 5 weeks.wish i had the surgery along time ago.keep up the good work. cathy
