First of all thank you to all *****sponded and were prayiing. A week ago I was in a 4 hour surgery and all went well with no complications. The days have not been the easiest since then and it was so hard coming home and feeling so yucky then developing breathing problems and needing more medication for that but now today I'm starting to feel a little like myself again for the first time and I know I'm finally on the other side. I have so much to learn how to adapt to eating with a new stomach and learn the feelings and what they mean. I"m only and limited liquids, jello popsicles, broth, water, crystal light so any tips anyone would want to share would be great, I do know I had to do this surgery to live and I want to live. Thank you again for the thoughts and prayers.

Patricia, I am sorry that you are not feeling well, but I am glad things went well in general for you. I have just gotten to the pureed phase. I like it more than the liquids.... After the liquids things start to get better because the food actually has some texture to it. Things will start to get better for you, Melissa
