I had my upper endoscopy and dilation today. It went very well. The doctor said my opening between the pouch and small intestine was the size of a 'dimple' before he stretched it. No wonder I couldn't keep much down! I can tell a huge difference already, and I'm so happy that my doctor knew what the problem was. I could just go hug and kiss him right now! hehehehe. I do have to go back in a month for another dilation, but I feel like I can handle anything now. I will be on full liquids for a few days, but then I can progress my diet back to where I was. YAY!! I am so much looking forward to that. I've had cream of chicken soup, water, decaf coffee, and now a protein shake since I've been home in the last 4 hours. Amazing compared to the last 2 weeks. My body is probably in shock. Thanks everyone for the kind words of support. Hugs to you all! Doreen
