Watcha eating today?
Shannon,
I have not been to my surgeon yet for a weigh in, but I had to go and pick my daughter up from Northern VA this past Monday. We went to a Wilco gas station and I got on the scale there. Guaranteed the scale may not be right, but from it I have lost 17 pounds. I am excited and hope its right. How about you??
Melissa
According to the doctor I went from 273 to 253
According to my scale: 273 to 245
So, I would estimate around 25 lbs, but I am at a standstill....getting bloated from PMS and next week my period is due. I have my next appt. with the surgeon next week on the 12th and I'll see what their scale says. I was so disappointed today because I feel so fat...guess it's the water weight from pd. grrrrrrrrrrr

I had my surgery on the 19th and so far I have eaten I am on pureed)
Carb control yogurt
scrambled eggs
8 oz protein and milk drinks
canned refried beans
canned peas - mashed
Campbells bean with bacon soup - mashed with underwood deviled ham added (this was very good)
Canned Salmon - thinned with lowfat Cream cheese
Canned chicken breast pureed in blender
Mashed potatoes
SF applesauce
mashed bananas
Some baby food prunes
Some of the middle of family's lasagna (mostly the ricotta cheese part)
Water, Crystal light no caf ice tea, Tropicana SF Orangeade
No problems so far but I find that it is hard to take my first drink in the morning - my stomach feels weird.
Most of the above was eaten in 1/8 to 1/4 cup portions, chewed very well and strained thru my teeth to make sure it is small and usually eaten slowly (although I sometimes catch myself eating fast)
I have just started my pureed phase. I have had 1/4 cup of low fat cottage cheese, and 1 egg scrambled w/ shred cheese. Tonight I am going to try the fat free re-fried beans.
Although, last night in an attempt to push to protein I had a shake.
It had
1/2 banana
1/2 cup sf pudding
8oz milk
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
It was really good, I could not get it all down but it was good.
