I'm also 2 weeks out. I'm 5'1/2" and weighed 238 on 12/10/05. With my surgeon's group, you go on a liquid protein diet 10 days before surgery. I have to say I weighed myself this morning and I am down 25 lbs. from that weight. I started back to work today but mostly caught up on email. I have my own tax business and so can dictate my own hours. Best of luck to you on this journey. I'm doing pretty good, no hunger or pain. Although sometimes I would just like food in my mouth. At least those thoughts seem to be fleeting. Corrine

Meagan; I am just a week out and I have lost about 20 pounds since the surgery. I am 5' 9" and went in the hospital at 310 and Monday I weighted in at 290 on a friends scale so there might be some differences. But anything under 300 is a joy for me. My goal weight is 150 but that might be too low. I almost want to look skinny but who know I just started this journey so we will see what happens. I had surgery Dec,27th. Steph

Hi, Meagan. I had my surgery on 12/19 and my starting weight was 260. I am 5'4" and I have been on liquids since surgery day. I will start soft solids after three weeks (on 1/9). I was 238.5 this morning. So, that is down 21.5. I haven't lost anything in a couple of days. Best wishes! Sherry

Hi Meagan, I will be 2 weeks post op tomorrow. 1/5/06 I am doing okay. Good days and bad days. I am better if I stand and not sit too long. I do have pain near the incision site inside. I started at 248 and am down to 226. So that is 22lbs. I am very anxious to start pureed foods. Full liquids is getting boring and old. I do crave foods that I can't have right now, but not ones that I thought I would. I was addicted to regular Coke and Pepsi but it doesn't even bother me. I would like a piece of pizza though. Take care. Miriam
