Hi All I am about 2 wks post op- doing and feeling well but SICK of Liquids especially COLD ones. My doc has us do a clear liquid for a few days post op then on to full liquids for 4 weeks. At 5 weeks I get pureed foods- yeh!! My sister ( who is very supportive) is having christmas dinner at her house and is trying to figure out what to serve me for dinner. Right now I have my shakes, applesause, broth, sugar free cocoa, sugar free jello and pudding, yogurt etc.... Any ideas for a christmas dinner? I would even love mashed potato and sweet potato or squash or even watery oatmeal !!!! Have to wait 3 more weeks. Anyone help me???? Cheryl

I am on full liquids too. On my surgeon's list that includes blended soups. I found the Campbell's Gold Selects. (In a box). There are five varieties and I have tried two. My Portobello Mushroom box is packed and ready to go for my Christmas Dinner. I am also taking SF choc pudding for a treat. The wait on pureed is to prolong any vomiting until all of our internal stitches have time to heal. I keep talking to myself about what is best for me and so far it is getting me through. I hate that so much of what I can eat tastes sweet. The soups and the SF yougurt are great new additions for me. But of course, protein shakes come first. Vicky

For full liquids I have tried a couple soups that actually had some small pieces in them and stuck it in the blender before heating - squash and a fancy tomato soup. Tasted great.
