I am having a down moment.
Hey how is everyone doing. For thoes having had surgery this week, or having surgery this week Congrats to you. May God bless you and your family. May he guide the surgeons hands, and keep him focused on you. May you also be blessed with the beginning of a new life. One that I hope you live to the fullest. Even though I have not written individual posts for everyone having surgery this week all of you have been on my mind, and in my thoughts.
Ya, know holidays are always a bad time of the year for me. As both my mother and father are passed away. My son lives with his father and this year on top of that my daughter will be with her father for Christmas.
It bothers me so much to know that when she wakes on Christmas morning, I will not be able to see her bright shinny face. On the other hand she has been really excited about going to her dads. She has a new baby brother there, which makes her a big sister.
Sorry, Dont know why I am rambling on, just having a really big down moment.
Thanks everyone for all the support I have gotten.
Melissa

Candy,
I have the Xanax, and I also have Ativan. I do not like either of them. The Xanax makes me drowsey and the Ativan gives me energy when I really want to just rest.
Yes, its like everything is falling down on me at once. I will be glad when the weekend is over. Then, I will only have two days left.
Melissa
MELISSA,
KEEP YOUR HEAD UP AND REMEMBER TO JUST DEPEND ON THE LORD FOR YOUR STRENGTH AND COURAGE. YOU WILL SURVIVE THIS AND YOU HAVE SO MUCH TO LOOK FORWARD TO. BEGIN TO GET SOME EXCITEMENT BECAUSE OF WHAT YOUR FUTURE WILL HOLD. I KNOW THIS IS A ROUGH TIME FOR YOU BUT LOOK TO GOD AND HE WILL GIVE YOU ALL THAT YOU NEED TO MAKE IT THROUGH THIS TIME. BE ENCOURAGED AND KEEP YOUR HEAD UP.

Dear Melissa,
I so totally am with you! I find I am having many mixed emotions as my surgical date approaches. (12/28/05) I am the day after you!
We will all get through this as other have before us. I keep thinking of all the people I have met at the support groups who never even look like they were ever fat. This is the beginning of our new life!
Have a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!
