Im Home and doing great!!!!

Ok So I went in On Friday Morning, got comfy in my gown... got poked, medicated, seen the entire hospital staff (ok not quite but it seemed like it lol) the time arrived and the next thing I remember is waking up wondering where the heck my little button was. Im not going to kid anyone it hurt like well like nothing I have ever felt.. I slipped off to a happy drugged sleep with a death grip on my happy pump (Morphene). The next time I woke up it was better and I began my long walk around the hospital driving everyone crazy. I Went home on Sunday and oh it was a great day! everyone was there, it was great but i got tired fast, Night time came and the bed was calling but it hurt to sleep so no sleep for me! Monday was hard I was tired I yelled at everyone, I finally passed out in my recliner, Tuesday I hit my water goal, And it felt great. It was easier than I thiought. Bedtime came around I settled into bed and Low and behold I passed out, and slept sound all night, Today I woke up just feeling wonderful no pain no Gas pain everything is moving through me ( you know what I mean) great. I went to town CUT all my hair off (OMG) got a color and frost, and had my eyebrows waxed!! big day, So what could top it all off, I have not weighed myself so I figured what the heck and stepped up. HOLY CRAP!!!271.5 that is 15 lbs off.!!!! So this is where I am. What a wonderful week!! I would like to thank everyone for all the prayers and well wishes that everyone has sent to me I could not have done it by myself with out all of you here!! Yeah Dori!!! I have been thinking about you. I am happy for you . I am sure pampering yourself was a real treat. You deserve it. I will be checking your profile for the pics of the new do!!! I am now 16 days post op, and down 30 pounds. I feel great also. I am on a pureed diet, buet struggling to get my proteoin in as I am sick of the powder I have. Gotta get to GNC and try that Isopure everyone talks about. I hope the journey continues to go smoothly for you. Take care Brenna

I came home today. I had the surgery Wed, laproscopically. WAS feeling fine, but I think I might have overdone it tonight. I did not do much went upstairs *slowly" 4 time, took a shower, and walked 3 times on hopital today. It does not sound like much, but I am paying the price tonight. I can not get comfortable anywhere. I did not stop an d get liquid pain meds, because it was Christmas Eve and I felt wonderful. Little did I know thAT I would end up needing them, All around one of my ports it is black and blue. Monday needs to come around quickly!!!!
