Surgery Dates this week

Hello family to begin new lives this week. Who all have dates this week? Melissa

My surgery date is Tuesday, 12-20-05...I am excited, nervous, and anxious all in one. Just really ready for it to be over with so I can be on the loser's side! Denise Open Rny 12-20-05

Denis, Congrats on your date. I hope your journey over to the other side is uneventful. I have been excited about my date for well over a month. I have known about it since November 11, so I am ready. I noticed you are having open Rny. Is I was not brave enough for that I am having mine done Lap. My doc also has changed over to doing it that way. Again, I hope things work out well for you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Melissa Smith

I feel the exact same way! My date is on Dec. 22nd! Cant think about anything else! We will do great! Tiffany

I'm getting a lap-band on Wednesday - talk about the longest night of my year! I've already told DH that next year we are going to have a giant solstice party to celebrate. I've been kinda nervous, especially about the whole "rest of my life" thing but I've spent the last few days getting the house picked up, ready for Christmas, groceries, etc. and now I'm feeling pretty good. Kim,. I am so excited for you. I can almost relate to what you are going throught. Its been over a month since I found out my date, and I swear it has been a very long month. Is there any way to contact you, just to see how you are doing. I would just like to call and say hello, if that is ok. If not please remember you and your family are going to be in my thoughts and prayers. May god be with you, your family, and surgeon. That is so sweet of you! I will be at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. If you call 617-732-5500 they will tell you my condition and can connect you to my room (my full name is Kimberly Smith). Are you excited or nervous? I was very nervous 1 week out but now that I most of the stuff I wanted to get done (like Christmas shopping) finished I'm looking forward to having it over and getting through the recovery phase. Hi Melissa... Best wishes on your surgery next week! Yes, I am having Open.. my doctor only does it that way.. besides that.. I am a revision case.. therefore I have to be opened up. I don't mind it all.. as long as I get it done... that's all I care about. I've been counting down the days since I got my surgery date which was on Halloween. Happy Holidays Denise
