kind of a oh my gosh kind of question
Hi Guys I have noticed that all kinds of questions are asked here and I have a doozy. I tried to post this yesterday, but I think I left a step out...LOL, lots on my mind of late. OK, the question...How soon after open RNY is sexual intercourse able? Wheeee I got that out...Now the reason I am asking...I am getting remarried on Jan.14th and wold like to enjoy all the benifits of marriage, especially since we have abstained due to our Christian beliefs. My surgeon doesn't allow anything for 6 weeks. That includes everything from lifting more than 10 pounds to vacuuming, and yes sex. As far as I'm concerned why risk it. Course I'm a military wife and I'm used to going months with out.
You will have to ask your surgeon what time period he would like you to abstain but even if it is 6 weeks, just remind yourself that you are doing this for your health, and you soon to be hubby should understand since he loves you and should want the best for you.
