3 days and a wake up!!!!

Man.. this is hard to believe.. I promise it seems like just yesterday I was standing at my mail box with a BIG OLE denial letter.. from Aetna.. ! It has been a LONG time coming.. but MY TURN is almost here...and I thank GOD every chance I get for blessing me with this opportunity. I went and did my pre-admission paper work and lab work yesterday.. walking into the hospital it became sooo surreal.. and then when the pre-admit rep placed my first "hospital band" on.. I almost died. It was really And to hear the nurse say "you're all set.. just show up Tuesday and that's it we'll do the rest." So as one chapter ends.. another one begins Pray for me... I know just what you are going through. Our surgical dates are the same. I have to be at the hospital at 0630 and OR at 1000 I believe. When they did my bloodwork and gave me the type and cross braclet I thought I was going to cry....LOL Denise you will be in my prayers on your day. All will go well and God Bless you. Debbie

Denise, I am having closed RNY on 12-22-05. i had my last visit with my surgeon yesterday. It doesn't seem real yet. I am going to do all my paperwork Monday afternoon. Best of luck. You are in my prayers. Kathy

It's so funny to read everyones thoughts about upcoming surgery. Just when you think you are so abnormal, you realize that there are so many having the same thoughts. Good luck Denise, you're in my prayers!
