Anyone else awake????

Its almost 3am, and for some reason unknown to me I am awake and on this site. I have been having some trouble with sleeping. I know that most of its from anxiety, but give me a break. I would like one night, just one night when I could sleep from the time I go to bed until it was time for the alarm clock to go off. This is really getting old. Melissa

Hi there Melissa, my surgery is next Tuesday.. and at the EXACT time I am typing this.. I should be rolling into the OR.. LOL The same thing has happened to me off and on over the last few days. Sunday night was the absolute worse. I laid in bed, in the dark while the rest of my family was dead asleep.. it took me 2 hours to fall asleep. It was sad.. I am full of anxiety too.. and I just want this to be over with FAST. It seems as if the 20th can't get here fast enough. I refuse to take sleep aides.. so... I guess I will just have to deal until next Tuesday morning. Best Wishes with your surgery... Hope you can eventually get some rest Denise Open RNY 12-20-05
