I got my date...so what should I expect in the hospital?

I got my date for surgery which is scheduled on 12/30. Dr. Patrick Coates in Modesto, CA is going to be doing my surgery at Memorial Medical Center. I was curious if anybody here has had their surgery done there and can tell me what to expect of the hospital stay? Are they attentive to your needs, what kind of clothes will they allow you to wear while you are there, because I don't want to have to wear one of those ugly hospital gowns and have my big behind flapping in the wind as they make me walk walk walk...if anybody can answer me i would appreciate it!! Most places will let you bring what is comfortable for you.. take a pr of lounge pants or sweats or pj bottoms and... Walk walk walk... sip and enjoy your journey!! It is the first day of the BEST of your life... I went to a hospital where they have a bariatric floor... they were sooooo attentive i felt like I was being taken care of by my best friend or big sisters!! Linda
