i got my date!!!

i went in a month ago to a lap band seminar and today i got a call from my surgon saying i was approved for gb and my surgury date would be dec,28th,iam scared nervous i feel like iam on an emotinal rollercoaster!:and even though i have all these anxietys the 28th seem to be forever away.any advice would be wonderful!

It will go by so quickly!!! You have all the Christmas stuff to keep you busy. I had a date 2 months before so I know the disappointment on having to wait that long. I counted down the days on a calandar and that helped. I am now 10 days out and am getting nervous but even more excited!!! One thing I have a question about for you is you had a lapband seminar but are getting an RNY the surgeries are VERY different. So you might want to look into that. Look at it this way you still get to eat for Christmas. I'll be drinking my christmas dinner Yippee!! It will go quick I'm sending good luck wishes to you!!
