17 days pre op new to site

I am new to this site, found out about it at my pre op education session. Would love to hear from a spare angel. Amy

Hi Amy, Congrats on the decision and the upcoming date !!! I'm 7 days pre-op and can't wait. The time is moving v e r y s l o w l y . . . for me, but it is moving. I know it will be here before I know it and I won't be ready as I am the greatest procrastinator around. Stick around and enjoy this site, it's wonderful !!! Also, check out lapbandtalk.com. It's also a good site, but I started here, and this is where I'm most comfortable. There's a lot, and I mean a LOT of really great people here that are very encouraging and supportive. They all have interesting stories and wonderful history that they share, and that really does help a lot. Just think, it won't be long until we will be a true part of this group of losers!!! Then, we can support others that are following in our shoes. Oh darn, I just realized that I'm getting a cold sore , yuck!!! Better get some stuff on it so I will look beautiful when they wheel me into surgery.... I want them all to be able to see my great big smile !!! ... Dori Smilz

Hey Amy. You will find so much info here. I just love it. My surgery date is Dec 22nd, and I am getting so excited. And anything I ever need to know is here. So read up and be ready for anything that comes your way. I will start lifting you up in prayers and you do the same for me. It won't be long and we will be on the loosing side.
