Hi, My name is Christine Smith, I am having Lap-band surgery tomorrow, December 6, 2005, at Port Huron Hospital-Michigan. My husband Harold will be there with me. So far, my surgery is scheduled for 10:30am unless there are any cancellations, then it could be earlier. I am nervous, if anyone out there is interested in filling this position please post! We are leaving our home here in Merrill in a few hours. We are checking into a Motel located near the hospital since we live 3 1/2 hrs away. We'll stay there overnight tonight, tomorrow night I'll be staying in the hospital. Hope everything goes well tomorrow. Thanks, Christine

Christine, These are just for you: ...... What an adventure we are having. We are becoming members of an elite group of losers. I'm so glad that your husband will be there to soothe and comfort these last few hours of nervous willies that you have...... I wish I would have logged in here yesterday to offer a few encouraging words before you had to leave. Thank goodness I'll be here when you return... We will all send smiles and good wishes your way today, tomorrow, and everyday in the future... If I could, I'd blow one of these balloons and twist you a teddy bear to take with you into surgery. I'm sure all will be well, but I know, that really doesn't calm those willies. Dori Smilz
