What to expect after surgery?

Can anyone tell me what to expect the day after surgery,and my first week home.date not set yet!

You can expect to lose weight (giggles ) Sorry, I couldn't help myself... What kind of surgery are you going to have? I have found a lot of really good info just by reading the posts at the forum area. Also, my Doc's website has a number of his patients' diaries posted. (bandafterwls.com) Some of the things I hadn't thought about were: sleeping or lying on my stomach, gas, hair loss) I'm fairly new to this site, and couldn't believe no one had posted any type reply to your post.
