Starting a profile...HELP!! Please?

Hi Everyone, I've enjoyed reading the profiles and viewing all the wonderful befoe & after pics on this site. Could someone tell me how to start my journal under my profile? My surgery date is coming up 12/29/05 and I'd like to get cracking Thanks Guys! p.s.
