TAILBONE PAIN UPDATE!!

Hi everyone, Well after posting my tailbone pain post last week, I got an MRI done and it showed no fractures or anything, but some fluid behind it, (which the orthopaedic doc said was unusual), so now i have to see a color rectal specialist to see how we can get rid of it. Joanne, That's a new one for me - I've never heard of such a thing. I sure hope you get it figured out. I have enough pain in my rear from having no fat left on my butt - it feels like skin and bones - bleachers are so hard so I've taken to sitting on my coat! Good luck! Diona

Oh my goodness! I thought I was the only one w/tailbone pain. It is seriously crucial somedays. I am in a sitting position naturally and I have to scoot to the end of the chair and brace myself to stand What is up w/that??!!

Hi all My tail bone hurts because I have no more insulation. Usually if I get into the tub or lay flat on the floor it hits bottom. Oh well. Madeline

What do u all do to ease the pain, i find it unbearable at times. By the way I will be having a colonoscopy to see about the fluid, but the doc doesnt think its anything serious, just doing it as a precaution. I would like to know how to ease this pain though, any good advice would help. Thanks Joanne

OH MY I thought I was the only one with TB problems!!! I told my Dr. that I thought I had something wrong with it and asked if maybe he could schedule me for a TaleBone Removal surgery!! he laughed at me.. It is very painful! (((HUGS))) Dori
