Weekly Check-in

Just poppin' in for accountability and support!
Here is what I am thinking will work. 1) How are you doing? Just give a general check in. 2) What are your goals for this week? 3) Did you acheive them? 4) How can we encourage you?
1) How are you doing?
I have been doing somewhat better, but if it's not one thing it's another. This week I was on vacation, so I didn't work out. But, I did eat better. Good gravy, you'd think I could get it together!! But, that is why I am checking in with you all. I WANT to succeed. And I know you all do to. I realize surgery fixes our bodies, not our heads! And, so, I am the kind of person that needs to talk to others when I am getting out of line.
2) What are your goals for this week?
PROTEIN!! I am going to consiously try to get protein in like never before. I am going to be a protein princess. Also, I am going to curb the snacking!
3) Did you acheive them? You'll find out next week!
4) How can we encourage you?
I think this check-in will be a great encouragement. Also, if I am doing poorly, I need a good kick in the pants...but please be gentle and loving about it! NO, don't be easy on me, but just be caring!!

My weight is great. As you know I have a lot of trouble with my bones. They are hurting really bad right now. I don't know why either. They usually hurt when it is cold out side and not with the heat index of 110. I think maybe its all the rain we have had. It sure isn't too much AC can't afford the light bill.
My goals.
I have really got to learn to stop cooking soooooo much food. I am wasting food like crazy. I didn't do too much cooking over the summer months. Now that school is back in I am cooking decent meals. But I am still making them way too big. I look in the pot and say this is not enough and I keep adding. I am freezing and throwing away tooo much food.
Achieve my goals.

I am doing ok. I decided to bring in some fresh fruit and wasabi peas to snack on while at work. I am at a stand still this month only three pounds. I have skippped the gym a few times too often.
2) my goal for the up coming week is to make it to the gym on my lunch hours, get a good deal of protein in and try my best not to graze on those awfull carbs!
I know thats alot of small goals but I have high expectations and I am running out of "Window" time.
4) I think that a weekly check in is wonderfull encouragment!

I need to check in also. I have 8 lbs. to go until I reach my goal and am feeling like I can now eat anything I want to. I had a whole taco last night from Del Taco, which is not like me to do. I am walking about 4 1/2 miles a day and that has helped me tremendously. I am getting in one protein shake a day (34 grams) and have yogurt and fruit for lunch (17 grams protein) and then veggies and meat for dinner. It's after dinner that I have the most trouble with. I graze from about 8-11 on banana crisps ( 40 calories per serving) and corn puffs (low in calories). I am trying to curtail this eating behavior but it's so hard. Overall though, I feel great and have a whole new life in front of me. Let me know how you're doing!

1) How are you doing? I'm doing "OK" right now. I had been so busy with wedding planning and grad school and WLS that I now feel like I don't have much of a purpose. I just need a job and then I won't be so bored. Things are going well as far as WLS shtuff goes.. down to 168.. feeling very good about that.. I thought my loosing was done.. guess not.
2) What are your goals for this week? I need to get back on schedule with my water and vitamins this week.. I've been so so so bad!!
3) Did you acheive them? We'll see next Sunday.
4) How can we encourage you? Just keep posting.. it really helps to hear what everyone else is going through.. it makes me feel so much less crazy for thinking about all the same things.

1) How are you doing? Just give a general check in.
I am doing great! I was a little run down, but I upped my protein supplements to twice a day and that seems to be helping my energy level. I shopped this weekend and bought mostly 12s, but did get one pair of size 10 capris. The 12s fit me perfectly, but I bought the 10s so that I can wear them longer. I can't believe I'm in a 10/12!
2) What are your goals for this week?
I want to stop night-time snacking!

How am I doing?
I've been going thru some depression and mood swings for the past month. Started taking Buspar and not sure if it's right for me..I seem to keep getting grouchier and grouchier..
Other than that, I'm right on top of goal and at a standstill with my weight, which is fine..I look great, I think..sometimes I think I still look fat. Makes me a bit sad that my journey is coming to an end as far as the fast ride, anyway.
My cycles are getting crazy..I'm going on two weeks late, but last month I had an extra long period of two weeks..so really need to call the gyn for an appt. Prob. an age related thingie..yikes, the dreaded menopause?? I hope so, cause the thought of preg. at my age is ...well..no words could express that fear.
What are my goals this week?
I'm taking a break. No goals this week..I'm too tired. I'll just keep doing my usual, high protein, low carb..gallon of water etc..
I had company all weekend and I'm pooped..just going to relax. Just don't feel too well.
How can you all encourage me?
You already do, every single day! I read your posts daily tho' I fear our members will dwindle down even more...we still need eachother. I know we shouldn't compare ourselves to others, but still I want to see if other's are with me this far out of wls..

I also have had my ups and downs, but overall I think I am doing okay. The weightloss has certainly slowed way down. I find that I am being more daring and making bad food choices, especially at night. It's the snacking thing. For the last month I have lost my motivation to exercise. I was walking at least 5 times a week, but now I have to drag myself to make it outside to walk even once a week. I was working in my yard and that too has stopped.
My goals for the week are to increase my exercise and eat less fat. I don't eat many carbs and I get about 70 to 80 gms of protein a day. But I know I eat too much butter and cheese.
The way I am encouraged is by reading all the posts and suggestions that are given. Does anyone have any suggestions about motivating my butt to get moving? Anything would be helpful. Thanks.
