What's your biggest surprise?

I have found that I like to run. Pre-op, I thought that runners were a little off and my big joke when I would see a runner was, "what's his problem", as if to say that they were crazy for running. On Thursday, I am signing up for the 2007 Disney World marathon. What has been your biggest surprise? Take care Scott

Sharon, I feel for you. I suffered terribly with plantar fascitis both pre-op and post-op. I've finally lost enough weight that it has disappeared. Here's a prayer that yours will disappear, too. Sherry 259/171/130

My plantar fasciitis has dissapeared too..........I don't even wear my orthotics anymore!! Such a BLESSING!!!! I was even in foot splints at night before. I still have some arthritis in my knee but wow.........feet feeling better.........I'll take it!! Jody 276/183/140
