Resturant choices
I went to lunch with my husband today at Ruby Tuesday's and it got me thinking. I wonder what people eat when they go out. So I thought about a topic for here. I know that some resturants are area specific but overall--if you do eat out--what kinds of things are you eating? For me--
Ruby Tuesday's--white chicken chili, salad
China Garden---Mongolian--where you get to pick meats and veggies and they cook it
on a big round grill type thing
Taco Bell--spicy chicken soft taco--dump the tortilla and mix with Pinto's and Cheese
Wendy's--chili
Subway--I just get any type of meat and have them put it on a wrap and I eat about half of it
I guess I don't have too much variety...LOL

99% of the time I get one of two things when eating out... either A.) a grilled chicken breast sandwhich, of some sort, dont eat the bun, but eat the chicken, sauce, cheese, etc or B.) Grilled Chicken Salad, again, so many different variations and I will eat the chicken, cheese and depending on the other toppings, might try those too. Dont eat the lettec
The other 1% consists of eating soup of some sort and supplementing that meal at home with a protein drink.
Really though, the variety of chicken sandwhichs and salads amazes me. They get creative and it makes it an easy choice.
I eat out often and enjoy taking home the leftover for lunch or dinner the next day. Here are some of my favorites:
Wendy's - chili
Taco Bell - soft taco supreme (yummy..)
Red Lobster's - shrimp scampi, crab legs or shrimp pasta
McDonald's - grilled chicken salad
Subway - tuna on Italian (I might have try it on a wrap next time)
Chinese Restaurants - House Yat Gaw Me (thick noodles w/chicken, pork, shrimp and a boiled egg)
Outback - Alice Spring Chicken (boneless chicken with cheese, bacon and a honey mustard sauce on top)
Ruby Tuesday's - I love the salad bar, appetizer like boneless BBQ wings, or hamburger
I could go on and on but those are just a few of my favorites....

I tend to browse the appetizer and soup menus. If I am familiar with the restaurant and it is near home, I order whatever I want and take my leftovers home. Sometimes they last three more meals! I try to avoid fast foods, and I have not tried Chinese yet, mostly because of the ubiquitous rice.
Enjoy!
I am a manager at Chili's Grill and Bar. When I'm at work, I like to order a kids grilled chicken platter with broccoli and a side of buffalo wing sauce to dip the chicken in. The plate comes with a 6 oz. portion of grilled chicken, but I usually only eat 1/2 and only a few pieces of broccoli. I take the rest home for dinner later.
My other all-time favorites are the mongolian beef from P.F. Changs, the add-on lobster tail at Outback, or the lemon pepper trout at Cracker barrel.
