What is wrong with me?
OOOoooo and I thought it was just me. I can't hit that 199 to save my saggin neck!
I go to the doctor next Wednesday. My clothes when I WEAR the right size shows I've been working it. Now if the scale would only say I'm working it. As we have been told STAY OFF THE SCALES
I can't I am a scale junkie
Yolanda,
You and I are at the sam eexact place!! When I had my surgery on 12/9/05, I was 325 pounds. Today I am at 240 pounds, 17 pounds away from the 100 mark.
I know we really want to hit that century club but we have to remember how far we have come. Today I wear a size 20, 1 year ago size 32 was tight.
Hang in there - you deserve the best!!!
Jody
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to update you on those stupid 18.5 pounds. I still have them but I am happy to report that I spoke to the nurse at my surgeons' office and was told that I was doing just great. She told me that I was only expected to lose 100 pound by 1 year out! she said that I should be extremely happy to have lost so much in such a short amount of time.
I am happy about the loss. I am happy about my life as it is today. People look at me and say that I am getting too small. I can't beleive that but I like hearing it.
I think that we all get caught up in the pounds loss game and we are not taking enough time to enjoy were we are now. I am going to try to relax a little more and enjoy being in a size 18 vs a size 26 tight. I know 18 won't last long 16 is coming soon and when I get to a 14 then I will start complaining that I need to stop lossing weight. Go figure! Never satisfied!
