HELP!!! I need your PRAYERS and SUPPORT right now!!!
Sharon,
I totally understand where you are coming from, I have had heel spurs for years. They come and go, but the pain is unbelievable, just know that is does get better. Did your foot doctor suggest orthotics? they helped me alot. Even those pads you can buy at the drug store can help, just pad up those heels. All I wear are tennis shoes because of my feet. If you have a stationary bike availalbe you can use that until your foot feels better. I did that for awhile. Anyway keep your chin up, and stay away from that sugar. I have feel so much better with out it, no headaches etc.
You will be fine.. just think how far you've come..
Take care, Lynn
Hi Sharon,
I feel for you, but look how far you've come! About the sweets, I had a friend pass away and I know all about the sweets and liquor! But I think the most important thing is to tell ourselves that was then, and NOW I am going to get back on track. Also, with us not absorbing all of our food and nutrients we must make healthy choices, could that possibly motivate the healthy eating again? I am far from a doctor but my friend that just passed broke several bones in her foot (and other places from a awful fall), anyways she was told she can not grow bone and the same you did, it would take forever. BUT she did, she wore (sp) Berkenstocks for ever, even a year later and gently moved her foot for excersize. The doctors were amazed, she said it is 'you' that can make things like this happen. I truly believe in this, and you! Take care
Hi, Sharon. I used to suffer with plantar fascitis. It is very painful and takes a while to heal. It is quite disabling. When mine was at its worst, I would freeze a water bottle and roll my foot on it. It ices it and stretches that tendon at the same time. Of course it would still hurt after icing it, but is sure feels good during. When I first had surgery, I tried to walk but was unable to due to this problem. I resorted to riding my exercise bike because it didn't put any stress on my foot. Also, summer is upon us, so maybe you could do water aerobics at the YMCA? Just some suggestions! I hope you are feeling better soon and best wishes.

Sharon,
I am praying for your healing that everything will work out for you. I am also praying for your family that they will get understanding and patience while you fight this battle. Remember, that this too shall pass. I have never had to go through any foot problems but regardless I feel your pain. Others have given you great advice on how to do what you can at home to take the pain away. As far as the sweets, I DON'T DUMP either and find myself snacking time to time on the wrong foods. I have this new love for jelly beans and find myself eating them from time to time. What helps me stay on track is looking in the mirror at the new me and looking at old pictures where I weighed 338 pounds. I know that I don't want to get back to there so I put the jelly beans away and all the other sweets. You have come a long way and I know that there are bigger and better things in store for you in the future. Keep thinking positive and everything will work out for your good....

Hi Sharon,
You WILL get back on track! I am sure of it. Who doesn't fall flat on her face from time to time?
In addition to the exercise bike, you might go to the Y or a gym and try the elliptical machine, which is lower impact on your fee****er aerobics or a gazelle might also work for you.
Don't let ANYTHING stop you!!!
HUGS!
Lord I just ask you to give Sharon the strength to be strong, the will to have will power, the graces to realize that her life is fragile and her body was made in your image and that everything she does you are with her and you are her strong tower. Let her life be full of your will and take her hand that she have tremendous success and fill her life with excitement and energy that only you can provide. In Jesus' name. AMEN
