Longest stall?

I have stayed at 182 to 185 for five weeks now. I keep finding some clothes that fit a little bit better. I am diabetic and my numbers are improving. I am holding my own. I am NOT freaking out. I keep reading the posts and proiles of folks who have passed a year since WLS. This, too, shall pass.
Since surgery, I have lost 58 pounds. My ultimate goal is 100 pounds so I am happy.
I am right there with you...been stalled for @ 5 weeks & it is driving me crazy!! I keep going between 213 & 218 and just can't seem to get past that point. I really wanted to hit 100# down at the 6mo mark, but doesn't look lie it is going to happen. Oh well, I just keep telling myself it will pick back up again...this is not over yet. I think I will try the stall buster diet for the next 10 days & see if that helps at all. Good luck to everyone & Happy Memorial Day! My hubby served 2 deployments in Iraq and this Memorial Day was a very emotional one remembering the friends we lost & being thankful that he wasn't one of them. Thanks to all who took a moment out today to remember!

I'm stalled right now too. I've noticed that the closer I get to goal the more often I stall. I try to look at it as my body trying to settle into this new weight. I've never been this small before. It can be very depressing but I always seem to drop a size during a stall so...look out 10s here I come!!

have you tried
Plateau Buster Diet
#1 - Do this for 10 days to break a plateau
#2 - Drink 2 quarts of water a day
#3 - You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamins/minerals supplements each day (some suggest at least 60 and up to 80 gr)
#4 - You may consume up to 3 oz of the following high protein foods, 5x a day
beef
pork
chicken
turkey
lamb
fish
eggs
low fat cheese
cottage cheese
plain yogurt or artificially sweetened (?)
peanut butter
beans/legumes
You may also have:
sugar free popsicles
tea or coffee
sugar free soda
sugar free jello
broths/bullion (sp?)
crystal light drinks
#5 - If it's not on the list, you can't have it for 10 days!!!!
#6 - Keep a food diary and try to get up to 30 mins of exercise
