JaNae,
Things are going ok with me. I had to go and buy a size smaller today. I was wearing a size 24 and they were falling off of me.
1. Preo-op weight 354/ current weight 254/ goal weight 180
2. I do 30 min circut training. I try to make it at least 3 times a week. I have been slacking off of that lately. I do get a lot of walking in at work, and have vowed to take the staris as much as possible.
3. I have found that I really like saltine crackers, and chicken salad, with cheese. Lots of carbs in the meal, but it taste really good.
4. I do not have any problems. I guess I have been really fortunate of that.
5. The only advice I have is for people to do what they are told by their surgeon. Also advice I need to follow myself.

2. swim 1/2 mile everyday at 6 AM...can't wake up in the morning without it now!
3. FF coolwhip mixed with SF chocolate pudding...makes an great chocolate mousse for that monthly craving! Low in carbs and sugar too. Also melt parm cheese, poppy seeds, seasme seeds, minced onions, and powdered garlic on a cookie sheet 350 degrees.. makes a great crunchy chip...about the size of a cookie.
4. my only concern is I won't make it to my goal.
5. You have cravings for a reason...find a healthy way to satisfy that craving.
Happy losing, Brooke
Hi all,
I slid into onederland without knowing because I was in the hospital with ulcerated anastomosis, peritonitis and gall bladder. In for a week and when I came out I had dropped to 193.5. Hooray.
1. High312.5/Day of Surgery240/Current191/Goal155
2. Walking on crutches
3. Shrimp/Protein shakes/Reduced fat Ritz
4. Still have feeding tube so am still limited in activities. (First the internal bleeding from the first surgery limited activity and now this) I feel I'm losing my honeymoon time slot but now only have 36 pounds to go. I think I'll make it.
5. It's so startling to see the clothes I fit into now. It's also startling to catch a glimpse in the mirror - wondering who that is. Talk to yourself about your progress and feel bones and curves as they show up. Anything to keep body and soul and mind together on this journey - all the way to the fabulous end.
Blessings to all
Shar
