I want to get back on track because I do not want to go back to the life I had before surgery. I know I have to be realistic with my goals but I have not even been trying and I am paying the price. I feel horrible, I have no energy, and I am gaining weight. I guess that is what eating donuts for breakfast, fast food for lunch and eating candy bars out the vending machine will do. I know I have stretched my pouch but I am feel I still have hope because when I eat dense protein I do still get full pretty quick.
From reading everyone's posts, I know I am not alone with this struggle. I know we all have different struggles but maybe we can help each other by coming here to share our thoughts, ideas, and just support one another. I thought I would get things started and see where it goes.

Hi Vera,
I havn't posted in a long long time. I kinda got side tracked from my goals. This is the time when we really need each other. I started slipping back into old habits over a year ago and I gained about 25lbs. I visited my Dr last summer and he told me that I had an unrealistic goal of trying to get back to 150. I was 165 then. Since my visit to my surgeon I have gone up to 179.
We are indeed all new again. Maybe we need to get something started. What do you think?

I think it's normal for some people to gain some weight back after WLS. I gained back about 15lbs.
I don't like it but in all honesty everyone tells me I look better with some meat on my bones.

I"m still here and there occasionally. Did you get school finished up? Well I've gained 20#'s and it's driving me crazy, so I am on a mission to get it off!!! Hope life is treating you good, you look great.
Take care,
Loni
Hi Vera, glad to see you. I come by occasionally to see the Dec. 04 crew. I have gained 15lbs then I got pregnant. I am hoping to lose all my preggo weight and then some so I can get back into my size 10's.
Take care and let's get the board going again!

Yes, its been a while, but I'm here. I want to share my belated anniversary greetings with you all!
Whose still here? I see Ron, (hi baby), but who else? I've gained back about 40 pounds, but still happy in a size 18 20. Got to be me, and 40 pounds over 4 years, is not too bad, right? Anyone else gaining/loosing?
Well, please check in. I am new all over again, so if anyone can advise me on adding new pics and stuff, please let me know.
Miss you all!
Vera

I feel you! I got down to a size 8 after surgery. I was pregnant two years straight and now have a 2 and 1 yr old. I am stuck. I wear a tight 14 and want that size 8 back, but just not getting anything. I started working out everyday and even running for 10 minutes and lost nothing! After 1 1/2 months of this I gave up, it is frustrating to feel like I am in my old body that just refuses to lose weight. Hugs you are not alone!

Seems alot of us have gained some, We are now over 4 yrs post-op and man i turned to drinking for awhile and it really put on the weight for me. I had lost 220lbs then gained 50lbs then lost 20 then got pregnant, just had my baby 2 days ago so now I too am trying to get back on track and take care of myself! But thankful I'm not over 400 lbs anymore. I'm not going to give up and let my setback hold me back. I thought about joining weigh****chers just for local support and keep me motivated and accountable..
Good luck to you!
Kelly
