Topic: RE: Missing You !
Hello to all,
I'm down a total of 260 lbs so far. My starting weight was 440, and my weight is teatering between 179 and 184 most days now. It is a lot more than I ever expected to lose, that's for sure! The docs thought I would probably bottom out around 210 or so, but they are not terribly concerned as my BMI is still in a safe range and I am feeling pretty good, for the most part. My wife just had surgery two days ago and so I have been back and forth to the hospital doting over her and also taking care of our 8 children. She just was moved from ICU today and hopefully will be coming home by Sunday or Monday. It seems amazing that it has been almost 18 months already since my surgery. Time really flies!! Luckily, I most likely will not need to have any skin removed as most of mine snapped back. I'm not saying that I don't have any, but not enough to really worry about. At this point, I am trying to put on about 10 lbs, but in a very controlled way. I have never been faced with such a thing as having to put on weight. It is a whole new experience for me!! Well, take care and have a nice holiday!! Tom

Hi Karen,
I just saw her pics. I never knew you could look up someone
by thier name. I need to get them to change mine.
They are showing an old pic and it doesn't have the right
weight in my pic. It's showing the weight loss on the current
pic I have on my profile. I took that old pic of me in the skirt
a long time ago. Strange???
Congratulations Monica!!! Way to go!!!

Ohhhh honey I've been there and I know how miserable that can be.... It is so miserable....
Here's the suggestions that have helped me:
1. Drink a minimum of 64 oz of water a day (What I do now is add those On-the-go by Crystal Light or even the SF Koolaid ones). This will count as water.
2. Avoid caffeine at all costs as it will dehydrate your body of the water it needs.
3. Try to eat more fruit and some veggies too. Watermelon, apples, grapes etc are good.
Truthfully the more water you drink, the better off you will be. I drink the bottled water only because our water is icky here! It does help keep things flowing so to say. Goodluck hon! And I do hope you get to feeling much better soon.

Topic: RE: Constipation Problem!
I only had an occasional problem with constipation before the surgery. I received some recommendation from some people on this message board that I think I will try. I think I will start with the Smooth move tea. If these things don't help then I will go to the Dr
