I am gaining as well. I am strugging!! After losing my job unable to have fills. So I have gained 30 plus pounds. I have a new job, hopefully the new policy will cover fills. Be encouraged that we will lick this and start losing again!

Thanks for the encouragement. You are absolutely right. Why go through all the effort and allow yourself to regress to what you were. I am having an adjustment this week and then back on track with diet and exercise. Take care.

Hi
I was pretty much in the same boat as you... I started to gain too. It was because I had let myself slip back into my old habits... eatting junk, drinking pop, and not exercising. Then one day I decided I was being dumb... why would I let myself go back towards the person that I tried so hard to get away from.
I think there are a lot of diet/eating plans out there and you need to choose the one that is right for you. The important thing is to just to stick with it... and remind yourself how hard you worked to get where you are.
I joined weigh****chers.... it's pretty compatible with the wls eatting plans plus it provides a support group and a weekly weigh in.
Good luck to you!

Hi Brooke,
I remember you well! I haven't been on this site in such a long time! I am glad I came back! I am glad to see that you are NOT giving in and going to work on getting back and staying on track. Please remember the gift we were given. Okay, as for saying you don't know what if feels like to be thin, don't think that way. Think about what it felt like at your Heaviest. That is what I do. I think about not being able to breathe when I did a flight of stairs, pain in my knees and back. I just had an oops baby 10 1/2 months ago. I am back to my goal weight because I promised myself that I wouldn't ever allow myself to FEEL that way again. So, remember it may be baby steps to the finish line for you, but you deserve to never FEEL the way you did when you were at your top weight. So, give yourself a break. You are only human. But, you have that human spirit and I know that you will do it because you can. I want to motivate you more, so I am going to tell you that next weekend after Thanksgiving I am going to my 20 year high school reunion in a size 4 dress and I wore a 6 to my prom! So, I may jiggle a little, but who cares! You can do it too! Remember that we are here to help with the bumps in the road. God bless and have faith in yourself. You a beautiful in and out! Love, Fran

Hi Ron,
I haven't been on in such a long time! So much to tell. Moved to a new state, HAD an OOPS baby and still down 100+ pounds, so life is still blessed here. Congratulations on the success of your company!

Topic: Gaining
Have gained nearly 30 lbs since dropping over 80 when I had the lap band in 2004. Had several adjustments over the three years. Scheduled to have another adjustment next week. Any suggestions for diet...it's been a while and I am now going to go back to the original diet for a few weeks. Clear liquids for first six days, then gradually adding puree, etc. Here' hoping I can drop at leas the 30 lb. I put back on.
