I am finally added to the before & after section with my new photos. Wow I feel like a star..... Please check out my new profile pictures. What a difference. That before women is gone and I am becoming and so enjoying my journey. Sure there have been some bumps and pot holes, but I have learned to maneuver and make better choice. Hurrah for us all. Hugs and hello to all who visit here, share, and learn together. Monica

Thanks so much Kelly. I'm back on track now and have actually lost 1.5lbs w/ the arrival of my "friend"... It's wonderful to see the scale going down! Good luck on your last 30-40lbs, you have such a great attitude about it. I know you'll get to where you want to be. I agree w/ you about the exercise being the key to losing the last of it. I'm back in the game now and will stick to this routine until I make it to goal and beyond! Congratulations on your loss, it's amazing how far you've come and you're a beautiful woman. Mandy

Thanks Karen! I'm doing much better these last few days and have actually dropped 1.5lbs!!! THAT ROCKS! I'm very excited to see the scale going down again. I have faith in you too! You can do this, I've read tons of your posts and you seem very dedicated to your eating and exercise, what discipline to have! Congrats on your loss and good luck on your last 40lbs. Mandy

The calcium in TUMS is "elemental", which means that it is a compound formula of both citrate and carbonate. It is not a great permanent solution to your calcium needs. 100% calcium citrate is still a better permanent choice. However, the extra calcium in TUMS won't do you any harm and it may really help your acid problem. Thanks for your support. !! Karen G

Thanks for the info Karen. You are doing great. Is the calcuim on Tums Citrate? That's the kind I take already with vitamin D. Ms. Lovely Rita told me that's the kind we need. Anyway I might still try tums. Norma

Advil and any NSaids are a no-no for life. They can cause ulcers in your new pouch. Antacids are okay, but be cautious of taking too much. Tums will do the same thing and they are also a good source of elemental calcium, so you can do yourself some good....while taking the extra meds. Try Tums for awhile and see if it helps. You really should call your PCP or your surgeon before taking any OTC. Karen G PS - Congrats on your great stats !!!
