Home Gym

I'm setting up a gym in my house. This weekend, I bought an elliptical trainer and my sister-in-law gave me a treadmill and a stationary bike. I already had free weights and a resist-a-ball. WOW. I now have a full gym in my basement. I love the elliptical. It has computerized read outs for distance, speed, time and calories burned. I can burn 100 calories in just over 5 minutes, without too much effort. Although I still enjoy my evening walks and riding my bike around the neighbourhood, I can see spending time on my machines everyday too. Still hoping to lose another 36 pounds. Wow Karen - it sounds like you are all set up at home. That is great. I think the key to exercise is to make it convenient. If it is too hard to get to the gym, etc. it just provides more excuses not to exercise. You certainly don't have any excuses now Keep on plugging and you'll get those 36 pounds off. You are doing great! Mary 302/172/1??

Thanks for your encouragement. I'm going to give it my best effort. I have vacation planned from July 31 to August 20th and would like to be nearer to my goal.... before I attend my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. The party is August 5th and it is a full wedding ceremony and reception. Even if I could lose another 15-20 pounds before the bash, I would be elated. Karen G

Hello Karen, That is great. I am so jealous. I have a gazelle and I use it on the nights I don't go walk with my support group. I really want to join a gym. You've got it made. Have a great day, Diana 379/174/?
