Help Please
Guys... I need some meal or snack ideas. I find myself eating the same things every day... it's getting really boring! The sad thing is that I work in a restaurant (Mexican but with American food as well) and I have the entire menu to choose from. I eat a lot of shrimp.. I love it. There are also many chicken alternatives and steak. I love tacos... but they are very ... fried.
I realized something.... I'm still fat... on the inside. I've been kind of depressed the past couple of days (maybe it's just pms). I've been starving, but not real hunger... just the kind of days where you want to shove every piece of food you see in your mouth. Maybe one led to the other. I'm just really tired of after all this success.... all the distance I've come... I still feel fat... I still look fat... and I have enough skin for 3 people. Maybe I should stop complaining... and just be happy with what I've accomplished so far... sigh.... thanks for listening guys.

These are some of the things I eat all the time
Yogurt (low carb Kroger brand Carbmaster - 12 proteins)
Special K cereal (high protein)
Cottage cheese with a little canned fruit
Chicken salad (canned chicken,miracle whip, Mrs Dash)
Peanut butter and S/F jelly on low carb bread
Cheesesticks
Beef jerky
S/F popsicles
Sugar free jello with s/f whipped topping
Smart Ones truth about carbs (frozen dinners)
Power Crunch bars
South beach wraps
Salads
Wendy's chili
What types of things do you eat? I would like some
new ideas too. I'm not into cooking. My hubby does
most of the cooking.

I personally think you are a Beautiful young girl. I know this time is really hard for all of us. We look like sharpai's and we see ourselves naked and think uck. To the rest of the world we are so much thinner and we are. As fat people we went thru years of having bad feelings toward ourselves.Even those of us who "say" they didn't arn't facing reality. I don't think we would have gone through such drastic surgery if we didn't care what we looked or felt like. Now the food we have been eating seems kinda boring and I know I have been having a awful time keeping away from carbs. They have been "calling my name" and they will be our downfall if we let them. I eat a lot of salad and love chili, my husband is making that for dinner tonight. I don't dump on sugar and have been cheating a lot. I try to fill up on the protenes and veggies and then go to a little bit of starches.
I almost wonder if I should go to a shrink or diatition again.

Honey don't be so hard on yourself, we all have those days and weeks. You know when I read what you wrote about still being fat on the inside is so right. I could never really say what it was I was feeling but that did it for me, and I think it takes us awhile to break those old thinking patterns. Look at all you've accomplished in this last year, you've done awesome and you look beautiful.
