Today's Rambling and Happenings...

I've found out that it's easier for me to not snack if I plan out my meals either the night before or in the morning before the day begins. It keeps me on track because then I have a "plan/goal" for the day. I'm a pretty goal oriented person (dang my roommate is cooking waffles and the smell just drifted to my room). Today I'm going to do an exercise video because it's way to cold to walk outside!! Woah... BRRRRRRR I've planned out my foods with fit day... like every day. Right now I have an apartment in DeKalb, but I am working in Monmouth (about three hours away) so I only make it to my apartment once a week or so. When I'm here I tend to eat out more often because I don't stock my cupboards because I'm rarely here. I decided to try to include that in my meal plan for the day... we'll see how it goes... So here's my food for the day... Cal Fat Carb Protein 2 Boiled Eggs - 154 11 1 13 1/2 cup Spaghetti with Sauce and one Slice of Rye Bread - 115 2 21 4 68 1 13 2 1 Orange and 2 ounces of 2% Cheese 85 0 21 2 160 12 0 14 1/2 Roast Beef Sandwhich (Arbys) and 1/2 cup broccoli 185 7 14 15 22 0 4 2 1/2 Roast Beef Sandwhich (Arbys) and 1/2 cup broccoli (not a typo I live for leftovers) 185 7 14 15 22 0 4 2 2 Cups Microwave Popcorn 80 4 10 2 That makes my grand total for the day... dun dun dun Calories - 1075 Fat - 45 Carbs - 101 Protein - 70 Usually I don't have quiet so many carbs, but usually I work at a restaurant with protein readily available. All in all though not a bad day eh? Now I've gotta run to the bank and get to exercising... Good Luck.... and How is your day going to go? What did you eat?

Hi Brooke, My day is going well. Got off work a little early and did a little shopping with my mom. Breakfast: Special K low carb cereal with low carb high protein milk and a banana Snack: string cheese and a lowcarb yogurt Lunch: 6 hot wings (from KFC) Dinner will be some rotisserie (sp) chicken Will also have another snack...maybe a sugar free jello with sugar free whipped topping. My roomie and I decided to go to the mall.... I got my exercise in thats for sure!! I also got a pair of pants from.... GASP Maurices... they were on sale for $8. I could never have fitten into a pair of anything from there before... they are size 15/16 and I'm in love with them. I also discovered Ka****rail Mix Granola bars... I had one instead of cheese for my second snack... less calories and still a good amount of protein. thats all... hope you are doing well!

Hi That's wonderful that your a goal oriented person as you'll stay on track I don't eat right myself. My problem is that I don't eat much when I'm working as I'm working nights and then when I'm off I find myself stuffing myself and neither is good for me I'm going to have my husband start waking me up at least an hour or hour and half before I leave for work so I can eat. I sleep until 9:15pm and I have to be at work by 10pm. With this surgery you MUST eat through out the day or for me i must eat or I don't feel good This probably why I'm not losing. Summer is coming and I'll start getting move active Glad to see you posted Donna 338/154
