Hello everyone, I was wondering how many pounds everyone lost in Feb.? I lost three. My weight loss has slowed down so much. I still want to lose more weight. People tell me I need to stop losing. They guess my weight at being about 40 pounds less than I weigh. I am getting my water and protein in. I still watch my carbs. I need to start exercising again. I'm been so bad lately about exercising. Hope everyone is doing good. Take care, Diana 379/179/?

I went from 208 to 203 this morning so I am very happy. Of course staying at 203 for longer than a day will be proof of the actual loss. I have slowed down on the scale hitting long patches of remaining the same for weeks on end. However the changes are visible to the eye if not to the scale. Also my clothes fit differently. This entire process is really great. I have just begun to get back into exercising. My left foot problem of the last 6 months is finally clearing up. I had exercised myself into a very bad toe and ball of foot condition that only lots of physical therapy and many doctor visits has finally turned around. I now have a permanent hammer toe on my left foot and it will probably need surgery in the future to pin the tendons and ligaments together. One extreme to another. I take my vitamins, watch my carbs, drink lots of water, get in my protein and make sure that I get enough calories in each day. I am thankful for this journey and the people who are on it with me. At age 58 I am in better shape than I was at age 28. Good luck to you and remember to be good to yourself. Monica 330/203/16?

I have not lost anything at all in February... I am up and down about 3 pounds... I am getting very depressed now because I still weigh around 250 lbs and I am still obese too! I feel like I am out of control with everything right now and I know I eat too many carbs in a days time... I really gotta get myself back on track again but I don't know where to even begin... I think a lot of how I am feeling has to do with all the stress I am dealin' with right now... I am frustrated and sad that I am not losing anymore weight now... Ok sorry if I am a bummer but I had to say it... Sometimes saying/admitting it is half the battle... My addictions to food are back (more like my carb addictions!)... I wish I would dump or something to learn my lesson and not do stupid things like I've been doing... But no such luck on my part... I am still glad I took this step last year and I feel good overall... I just need to drop more poundage... I am also bad about exercising... But where I live its soooo cold out that I don't even wanna go outside to the store let alone exercise... Yes I am making excuses, I know... How do I get my motivation back? What works for you? Any and all suggestions welcomed... (((HUGS))) ~~Chelle~~

Diana, In February I lost 3.5 pounds, after not losing anything in January. The weight loss has really slowed down and I am grateful for every pound now. Now, get back to exercising, you know you need to do it! No excuses. Can you tell I'm a big believer in exercise? Sometimes I think it's more about the mental benefit for me. I know when I work out after a bad day at work, my mood is so much better after my workout. I am so busy trying to get through the workout I don't have time to think about anything else. It's great. Take care, Mary

I lost 9 lbs in February! I'm getting very close to my goal weight and am still averaging about 8 lbs / month. On the one had I'm thrilled, of course, but it's also starting to freak me out a bit, to think that maybe I'll be one of those people who loses too much or has to fight to keep weight on. (How weird would that be?!) On the other hand, based on what I'm eating (generally 900 - 1000 cal/day) I could certainly add some calories (even a whole meal probably) without any problems, so I'm not too worried about that. Just wierd to think about. At 14.5 months post op, I've lost 188 lbs, and am now 3 lbs from the "normal" BMI range and 14 lbs from my "ideal weight" (according to the "post-op planner"). Or maybe not quite - I've been sick this week (just a cold, but felt lousy) and showed a 3 lb (!!) loss from Weds to Thurs. I suspect that might have more to do with being a bit dehydrated from fever than anything else. But I'm hoping it's for real!
