Scale does not lie
Confessing time family
I stepped on the scale and my adoring 153lbs jumped to 156lbs. Donna gasping
My eating is getting better and I'm not sure if I like that or not. I would rather be throwing up and not able to eat if I'm going to gain weight back. What is a skinny women to do
Told darling husband I must cut out a lunch on the night shift and he said eat around 6pm and have a snack later in the night. Good idea.
I need to get my butt working out.
On a good note. I bought some really cute outfits on clearance at Sears today. One little outfit cost me a total of around $12.00 and one pair of pants cost me 76 cents as I had some gift certificates. Then I saw two really cute outfits that I just had to have so I got them but they where not on clearance.

Hi Donna,
I was at 180 for about five days then when I got on the
scale last Monday I was at 183 again. I stayed at 183
until this morning when it said 182. That puts me at
losing 4 pounds for the month of January instead of the
six I was so excited about. I also need to exercise, just
would rather sit here on the computer.
Glad to hear about your new outfits. I love a good
bargain. It's so exciting shopping now-a-days.
(((hugs)))

I guess it's normal to bounce up and down a few pounds but it does make you stop and think when you see the scale go up instead of down.
Going the night shift has put the fear in me as I remember when I went nights 6 years ago at the nursing home and piled on the weight.
I have a whole workout room (gym) in my house and don't use it but I guess it's time to start jumping on that trade mill, bike and lifting weights.
I'm thinking of going on the Atkins diet for a while. Eating nothing but eggs and meat. That will drop the weight.

Eating nothing but eggs and meat might cause you some cholesteral problems.
You have done so fantastic on this program. Concentrate on getting extra water and exercise.. and watch your salty food intake.... it will melt away those few extra pounds. The gain could be water retention. Don't fret. Don't take "drastic" measures. Your years of yo-yo dieting are behind you. Just keep with your routine. You are a true inspiration !!!!

Hey Donna I know the feeling - I've been "maintaining" around 153 (although I want to be at 145) - and two weeks ago (now I have not made the best food choices lately) I stepped on the scale and it said 157 and then the next morning it said 161 - O my Lord I almost went crazy...I had to calm myself down - think logically (there is no way I have eaten 28,000 calories over the last few days it has to be water)...and then think what would a thin person do (wwtpd)...duhh...get back to basics. I am now at 152.5 and doing good. Sometimes, with me, I need a trip to reality (yes we can gain the weight back) to get my attention. I kindof have that personality type that if I can go 1 mile I will pu**** to 1 mile plus 1 inch...if all is well I will go 1 mile plus 2 inches, etc...so that was a reality check for me to watch those carbs and the snacking.
It is ok - you are watching and taking care of things, which is exactly what a thin person does...if I overeat today, I undereat tomorrow....and it is ok...
