Hi everybody I haven't posted anything to my web page in a year. I have lost my 100 lbs. I would like to get to a normal BMI but everyone telling me I don't need to lose anymore weight. I'm big bone person. I now weight 165 lbs and they tell me I don't look like I weight that much. Now the BMI say I should weight 130 lbs to be normal weight for my height which is 5'2. I still need to lose 37 lbs. I don't want to be consider obese or overweight. My husband like my size now. But I would like to lose more. 265/165

Hello Sharon, Congratulations on reaching the century club. I'm 5ft 6 in. and to have a normal bmi I have to get down to 154. I've already lost 194 pounds and I can't wait to hit the double century club. What part of Houston do you live in? I belong to a support group in Pasadena. Take care, Diana

I think it should be up to each person are where they feel comfortable at. My surgeon told me between 130 and 140lbs for my size but everyone says I look fine at 156lbs but my body is still losing on it's own. Donna 338/156

Hi Sharon, Why care what other people think? It is most important to find where we are happy. I don't really trust what most other people say anyway. They think they are being nice, or they don't want you to look better than they do, or they are jealous, or you don't fit what they think you should look like. Stay true to yourself. I think the only way we can be successful is to be healthy for ourselves, not other people. I think I will know when I am happy with my weight. Because of my history, I am looking for a comfortable cushion so I don't go crazy if I gain a few from time to time. Take care, Terri 358/175 6'0

Thanks! Terri you have done great yourself. Wow! that's a amazing weight lost for you. I think you right about people, they don't want you to get as small as they are. So I'm going to continue working to lose at least another 20 pounds so I can have something to work with. 265/165 5'2
