Donna I find that when I eat eat and increase my protein intake I also lose more weight. Strange but true. When I get stuck at a plateau for a few weeks I then increase my intake. You are inspirational to me Donna. I started out at 330 and now weigh in at 208. I am excited to be 9 lbs from onederland. I find it hard to believe that I could drop to the 150's. I am 58 years old and I am so very thankful for this journey.
Eat and lose...happy days,
Monica
happier, healthier, sexier, thankful
Hi Monica
What I eat is not always protein but it's like my body starts screaming FEED ME YOU EVIL WITCH, FEED ME
I always have to keep food in my pouch are I get light headed and feel confused sometimes. I really need to find a bar that I like and I can carry in my purse with me.
This morning was a good example. Had a very busy morning. Took my girlfriend to work at 5:30am as they might be calling for bad weather later this afternoon and her car won't make it through that kind of weather and she just started working there. We are working at the same assistant living, I helped her get the job. Come home and here is this poor man chasing his dog down as his dog broke the leash while out walking him. I helped him retrieve his dog for him and he was thankful as he had to get to work. Wonder why dogs never go to their owners but will be glad to approach a stranger. My son missed the bus so out the door I go with him. I normally force myself to eat something every morning but did not get a chance so I was only running on coffee this morning. Decided to go grocery shopping while I was in town. I'm standing in the store and my head starts to hurt, slight headache coming on and then I feel light headed. I tell myself to hurry and get out of there but I'm not done shopping. I forgot the cabbage and turned around to head towards the veggies and totally forgot what I was going for. Took me a while to remember. It's a not a good feeling at all. I guess I been working around those Alzheimer's patients to long
I just ate a half a roast beef sandwich and feel so much better now.
