I was up at the crack of dawn, 6am and took cookies to my residents at the assistant living where I worked and said Merry Christmas to as many residents that where up and awake and now I'm heading off to NY to spend christmas with my 80 year old Mother in-law. Everyone be save, travel safe and remember. DON'T EAT TO MUCH Donna 338/161

Hi Cheri Just got back from NY and it was raining cats and dogs and foggy out but we got home safe and sound. It's almost a two hour drive. I love my residents as they are my second family Donna

Too much rain. Wow! I'm glad to hear you're back safe and sound. I am glad they had someone who cares about them on Christmas. You are a kind person. Enjoy the rest of the holiday. Hugs, Cheri

We had a lot of fun at my mother in-laws. She threw a U-Cook-It dinner as they are Chinese. It's actully a really good meal to eat. Raw veggies, raw meats and noodles. You have two large pots of steaming chicken broth, home made of course. You dip what ever you want into the hot chicken broth and let it cook and then put it into your bowl and you eat away. That's why it's called a U-Cook-IT. You cook what you want to eat. Donna 338/160 (another pound melted away)

That sounds like fun. Reminds me of the days when "fondue" dinners were popular at house parties. Hmmm Hmmm Almost lunch time, and now I'm thinking of fondue. Congrats on the pound lost. I have banished my scale until January. Hoping that the "watched pot never boils" theory will work on scales too. I was stuck at -99 pounds for too long and I didn't want it to get me down over the holidays. So "out....out damn scale" Happy New Year All the best in 2006 Karen G
