One year was 100 lbs ago!
My one yr anniversary was Dec 16. Wow- this feels good. I can actually walk into any store and buy off the normal size rack!!!!!!!!!!!One of my biggest goals! Another was to have a bath towel wrap around me and lap over----it does!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy- It has been a very difficult struggle with the eating, vomiting, hair loss, etc-you know----but after all--I will say it was well worth it. I am ok and healthy. Happy rebirthday to me!
Happy anniversary Carolyn,
Some of us have struggled with the eating and vomiting but like you said well worth it
My eating is getting better and I have to thank Mary who is on this board for that as I had lunch with her and she told me that she chews, chews and chews her food and I watched her and now I'm trying to teach myself to chew, chew and chew It's not easy when we are raised to just shovel our food down.
Donna
Thanks for the note-and the advice. I too, am guilty of shoveling it down when I am hungry...not chewing. I will make an effort to do that...I gravitate toward the easy things to eat. Alot of which is not good food.....I am still losing and nearly at goal- so I have been getting loose with the carbs and sweets...............Have a Merry Christmas! Carolyn
Happy Re-birthday.
Sorry, I have been off the boards during the holiday. Just now catching up. Hope I didn't miss too many "re-birthdays'. Everyone deserves a huge pat-on-the-back. What a year it has been. I am stuck at -99 pounds, but I banished the scale until January. Since I was good over the holidays, NO sugar at all. I hope to make the Century Club for my new year's resolution.
I hear you on the little successes. I have gone from 5X to XL. My dress pants are a size 14 . What a huge difference. This has been my best Christmas in 20 years.
Here's hoping that 2006 is the year of "goal" for all of us.
Cheers my friend
