Hello...5 days out and Doing Well!
Hello
I just wanted to stop by in between my nap to say hello to all of you wonderful folks out here. I made it to the loosing side I am doing as guess as good to be expected 5 days out. I had my first dumping syndrome with the noodles that come with the chinese soups from the chinese carry-out. I guess my body said and I have learned a hard lesson. All I can say was it was awful. My blood pressure is high and was highly monitored in the hospital, I was able to keep in control in the hospital by medication but now it is staying up. I am praying that next week it will be back to normal with my follow-up appointment. Other than that, I just want to thank you all that has been helpful to me prior to surgery. It was a long road preparing but the 16th came quickly and went quickly and now I am 5 days post-op. I am doing a lot of walking around my parents house, going up and down steps. I haven't quite tackled the protein shake thing, its not my favorite thing in the world
But thanks again for all your support. I now join you all on the loosing side!!!

Gracie she came here before her surgery seeking advice and we invited her to stay on our board also and be a part of our family Like having a family of angels
Read my post on here. Like having a little sister. she can grow with her December 2005 family and still have her big brothers and sisters over in the December 2004 family as support and help when she has questions.

Cool. As you can see, I'm out of the loop. Either way like i said...CONGRATS on her surgery. And suggested that she post on her surgery messageboard, so she can have even more support. you can't ever have TOO many supporters, right?
Congrats again on your surgery and hold on for that exciting yet bumpy road...it's great!!!!!!!!!
Hi sweetheart and great big hugs I know how your feeling with the healing process and all. You'll learn with time what your new baby pouch can handle and not handle. It does get better as time goes along.
You take it easy and keep us posted. I'm glad you have come to join our family. It's like having my own little sister
We all have a little sister now

Congrats and Best Wishes for much success in your weight loss journey. I was high blood pressure, too. Three pills a day before surgery, two pills a day just after surgery, dropped to one pill a day after one week and completely off the meds by the 8 week mark. It takes time. Your body needs to adjust and you have to lose some weight before the pressure begins to drop. There is no guarantee that it will normalize, but it is possible, as it happened for me.
Take care,
Happy Holidays,
