One year anniversary

Hello all: Today is my one year surgery date anniversary! What a year 2005 has been! I have lost 110 pounds, and have hit goal. This year has been so good for me and my kids. I am a single mom, so my kids need me to be healthy and happy, and I am. I got to take my kids to the water park this summer, and rode the slides with them. I took them to the State Fair, and rode the rides, and had room to spare in the seats! I am going skiing with them later this month, and I haven't skied in years. Plus, we had a family protrait taken, and we haven't done that since my daughter was a baby, and she is almost 12 now! I never wanted my picture taken before. Now, I don't mind it. I had absolutely NO complications until last week. Last week I was taken in for emergency surgery to repair a hernia and a bowel obstruction, which was a direct result of my WLS. But, my surgeon did the hernia repair, so I knew I was in good hands. I am looking forward to 2006 and a lot more fun plans with my kids. Just wanted to share! Happy Anniversary to all of us!
